As a leader in corporate sustainability, Firmenich recognized that Solaire’s solar canopies were an innovative way to lower their energy use and CO2 emissions while creating an improved parking experience. Their Newark, NJ location presented a challenging site as several of the rows were near property lines and some of the canopies were close together. Solaire Generation’s design team altered the heights of canopies to maximize output within the given property constraints, helping the client meet their covered parking objectives.
